Synopsis: The one secret she can't stand to keep is the one she can't afford to tell.

The perfect little rich girl, River Pearl Sutton has always done what her family expected of her. She’d become the perfect little beauty queen, the perfect child model and now her global success locks her into a life she never really chose.

Coming home for the summer to prepare for the Founder’s Day Festival, a celebration of her lauded ancestor, she is tasked by her father to write a speech to be delivered at the end of the party.

Returning to Hope Parish brings her back into close proximity with sweet-talking, skirt-chasing Braxton Outlaw, the boy who always seemed immune to her charms in high school. But now he looks at her with those challenging blue eyes, both intimidating and seductive at the same time. Using research of her family lineage and his as way to get close to this bad boy, they fall into a hot, torrid affair.

She stumbles across a terrible secret that could bring to ruin not only her reputation, but the reputation and standing of her family. But when her infatuation with Brax grows into something that she can’t live without, she must decide what to do. Keep the secret and lose Brax or destroy her family and lose them.

It’s an awful, heartrending perfect dilemma.

Review: 4 Stars - A Perfect Dilemma is the third book in author Zoe Dawson’s A Perfect Secret series. The first three books have focused on one of the Outlaw, bad boy triplets and the woman who tame their hearts. Each title also has a mystery – sometimes dangerous – surrounding the characters and gives each title layer upon layer that the reader unpeels with the turn of each page.

So, I’ve been waiting to read about Braxton Outlaw and River Pearl since the first book. The angry, closed off brother of the Hope Parish Outlaws. He hates the reputation that’s been passed down for generations to anyone with the Outlaw name. He’s watched his mother and brothers treated horribly for things that happened years and years before their time and with River Pearl he just can’t give in to his feelings for her because to do that would taint her; the whole guilt by association thing.

These triplets have been entertaining to say the least! And Braxton has without a doubt lived up to everything I thought he’d be and then some. The angst from both Brax and River is a huge part of their story as is their mystery River is set on solving. And can I just say… Brax… swoon!!!

And as with each of the previous books, the mystery is a large part of the story and the thing that I loved about this one was that it was perfect because there was so much closure to the whole trilogy as well as for River and her family. It was shocking one minute and I was cheering and excited for so many people in Hope Parish the next.

The only sad thing was saying goodbye to the Outlaw triplets, their feisty women and Hope Parish. I enjoyed the first two books and this one was also a great read. If I had to choose a favorite brother, that’d be hard to do, so please don’t ask me! I will say that while each of these titles can be read as a standalone title since they do focus on separate characters… the books are about brothers who are very close to each other and a group of women who are best friends so there are bits and pieces of the story that overlap so reading them in order would be helpful. Not required but helpful.

I recommend these books to those who like a bad boy, or three; contemporary with romance, mystery and angst a plenty and three books that are easy to read and equally as easy to enjoy. All three books are out, so go get’em and enjoy!
