Synopsis: Twenty-three year old, Kamryn Cunningham has left all she’s ever known and moved to a small town where no one knows her name, who her parents are, or her social status in the horseracing world. Months after opening her own bakery and evading attempts of being set up by her new best friend, she meets Brody. Kamryn fights the instant pull between them because there’s a detail she can’t dismiss. Brody’s married.

To say that twenty-six year old, Brody Saco has had a rough marriage would be an understatement. After marrying his pregnant girlfriend, he spends the next six years in a relationship filled with hatred, manipulation and guilt involving a tragedy that happened five years earlier. When he keeps running into his sister-in-law’s best friend, Kamryn, he can’t ignore that she makes him feel more with just one look than his wife ever has; and soon he can’t continue fight his feelings for her.

When staying apart proves to be too difficult, Brody and Kamryn enter a relationship full of stolen moments and nights that end too soon while they wait for Brody to file for divorce. But the guilt that comes with their relationship may prove to be too much for Kamryn, and Brody might not be strong enough to face the tragedy from his past in order to leave his conniving wife.

Review: 3.5 Stars - Sharing You By Molly McAdams is a title that readers will either love or they’ll hate. I enjoyed it and the great story that McAdams has told for her two characters Kamryn and Brody. Their story is highly flawed, it’s not easy and it comes at a high price for both, yet with all the flaws it has redeeming qualities to it that left me with my own case of love/hate at the end.

The story itself is messy because its main focus is on the relationship between Kamryn who’s running and hiding from her past while living out a dream and Brody who’s in a nightmare of a loveless marriage. Both have pieces of their past that haunts them yet Brody’s ran a bit deeper and has a bit more of a lasting scar.

Most people won’t like reading this one or even give it a chance because of the touchy subject of cheating and I can understand why it’d put some people off. I don’t condone cheating at all and if it happened to me… I’d be a mess so I wasn’t sure how to take this title with it being the main subject matter.  The moments I loved it often overflowed into the moments I hated it and sometimes I couldn’t tell which I was feeling the most, it’s because of how strong my feelings were that I had to give McAdams props for making me a slave to my own emotions from beginning to end.

The characters themselves and the choices they made were frustrating and they often contradicted themselves yet when it comes to love it’s hard to go against it when it hits, however it’s how you go about things that forever mold you as a person.

Brody made some of the worst choices of all. I didn’t know where his head was from one moment to the next. He talked about not putting Kamryn into the position she was in yet continued to string her along for months! And then Kamryn kept taking it. She kept her feelings about it all bottled up and to herself and I wanted to scream! She was such a strong character for doing what she did to get to the place where she’s living out her life’s dream yet the second she meets a very unhappily married Brody her personality shifted and I missed the strong girl from the very beginning of the story.

The two produce some steam and yet they are a mess together as well as apart. Neither was ready for the level of relationship they find themselves in and yet to totally contradict myself they couldn’t have found each other when they needed each other the most. So wrong and so right… see totally conflicted throughout the story and for the reader as well.

The writing is done well and as mentioned above I had some seriously strong emotions that ran from beginning to end that there was no getting away from. I wished for different choices where both characters are concerned yet isn’t that also how real life is, where sometimes you don’t understand other peoples choices they make?

In the end I was glad that I read it. A book that can bring out the big guns for me when it comes to emotions is a winner. And while I might not have agreed with the subject matter the overall story was entertaining so I enjoyed it. Would I recommend this one? That’s a tough question. I would because I enjoyed it yet the subject matter is highly sensitive and controversial that readers should consider themselves warned before diving in. Sometimes we find a book that you don’t agree with the choices of the characters but it doesn’t mean that it’s bad or horrible. Future readers I hope you enjoy it as much as I did if not more. Happy Reading.

About the Author:

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.
