Synopsis: Trevor Mayson had his life planned out - make the family business successful and play the field for a few more years before eventually settling down. Then he sees her. Liz Hayes was beautiful, shy and everything that he could ever want...but she didn't fit into his plans. After Trevor painfully rejects her, Liz finally starts to move on, but Trevor is finding it difficult to truly let her go. It seems the more he tries to stay away, the more intense his feelings for her become. Like a stretched rubber band, he can only take so much before snapping.

Liz Hayes is done waiting for Trevor and isn't interested in getting her heart broken by him again, but Trevor is making it difficult for her to forget him when he shoves his way back into her life.

Can Trevor prove to her that he is worth falling in love with again, and is he ready to change his life plan to let her into his heart?

Review: 4 Stars - Until Trevor is the second title in the Until series by author Aurora Rose Reynolds. In each book the series focuses on a different set of main characters that we’ve met in the previous title. The alpha male characters are brothers who are bad boys, players and alpha males through and through… until they find just the right girl to settle down with. These titles take readers on a whirl wind of a ride that covers more twists and turns and bumps than one might find on a back country road.

The Mayson boys have all the women they meet in knots. Everyone wants a piece of them and better yet to snag one of these boys who aren’t about to settle down until they meet the “one”. For Trevor when he see’s Liz, he just knows. Trevor is a bit rough around the edges, yet aren’t all alpha males? He’s caught up on Liz and ends up pushing her away for reasons he believes that she’s better off without a player like him.

And Liz is fighting to take control back of the things in her life that her brother’s taken away from her. She’s struggling and stressing out and will do anything to keep her troubles quiet and work to fix the hole her brother has forced her into. I like Liz and that she’s a fighter. She doesn’t back down and has gone after her dream by jumping in with both feet to make it happen. She’s just as caught up in Trevor yet she’s not about to let him walk all over her.

These two when communicating work amazingly well together. One thing that I liked about this couple is that they have more than just a romantic relationship. They’ve built something based on friendship and really opening up to each other until Trevor does something incredibly stupid to mess things up. And wow, what a jerk move! I would have died!

Another thing I love about these characters is how family orientated they are. They come together often as a family and when one needs the other they are ALL there, through thick and thin. I love this family dynamic and how they all work so closely and well together – even their close friends who have become just an extension of their family unit.

While I enjoyed the first title in this series, which I should mention that while these are all technically stand alone titles I wouldn’t suggest passing up one for the other. There are plenty of cross over characters and bits of storyline that I enjoyed learning more about from one book to the next. And since the main characters are brothers who are close, readers can spend time getting to know them all from one book to the next. So do keep that in mind when starting this series.

So, back to the first title – Until November.. while I did enjoy it it was a bit rougher for me and in the end I couldn’t get these brothers out of my head. I wanted to know more, I wanted to see how would find the girl that could change their lives and with Trevor I was sucked in and when I was finished I couldn’t believe how quickly this one went by.

To say that I liked and enjoyed this one would be an understatement. I loved it! It wasn’t perfect but I think that this author is on the right path and I can only see her writing, character development and this series getting better and better with each book. So far that’s what’s happened for me and I’m extremely eager for the next title. Not to mention that little teaser throughout the story as to who we’ll be reading about next and that ending?!? HOLY COW! I about died. I’m still shocked over what I read and my heart broke a bit for not only one of the brothers, but for the whole family and all involved.

All in all if you haven’t picked these two titles up, what the heck are you waiting for? Like alpha males, well there are plenty to go around here! Need a good dose of “New Adult”? Look no further… these titles fit that bill and more! I’d love to hear what you think. Enjoy!
